Teck Cominco COO Kukielski resigns for new opportunity

TEL AVIV (MarketWatch) — Teck Cominco Ltd., the Vancouver mining company, said Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer Peter Kukielski would step down to pursue a new opportunity. A statement from Teck Cominco said Kukielski played a key role in its corporate restructuring into five strategic business units. Kukielski had joined Teck Cominco in July 2006 from Falconbridge Ltd.
