Related, Goldman joint venture acquires Hudson Yards lease

SAN FRANCISCO (MarketWatch) — New York developer Related Cos. and Goldman Sachs Group Inc. signed a deal to lease Hudson Yards on Manhattan’s West side in a joint venture, The Wall Street Journal reported late Monday. The venture negotiated a 99-year lease to build on top of the rail yard for more than $1 billion in 2008 dollars. Hudson Yards is the largest undeveloped piece of land in Manhattan.
